Questions
Do I need the subscription for the system to work?
No. On your home network everything works without it. The subscription covers access from outside your home, plus account features: sharing, multi-device sign-in, password recovery.
Is there a per-camera charge?
No. One subscription covers the whole home, however many cameras you add.
How do I cancel?
Account → Cancel subscription. Takes effect at the end of the paid period. Your local system keeps working.
Who processes payments?
Frame Payments (PCI compliant). Your card details go directly to their hosted checkout — ShutterLine never sees or stores card numbers.
What if ShutterLine shuts down?
Nothing happens to your footage. It's on your hub, in your house. Remote access would stop; recordings and the local dashboard are yours regardless.
